it IS art. Why does no one understand that? It's just not the uploaders art.

If you didn't made it, you don't own the piece (e.g. you bought it from the artist) or you don't have the permnission of the original artist to upload it, you can't upload it. That's the rules.

you may upload as you please, just give credit or have documented use.
THE END.

That's not the way it works. Some pictures are tied to legal artistic agreements which forbbid them to be used by other than the artist (or in this case, the creators of the game)even if you give credit.
Plus, the very intention of this site is to promote original art, uploading someone else's work fails to that pourpose and is not supported by the ruling of the site. You should read them before getting into any more argument about the subject.

If you ask to use artwork in any promotional way, they have the option to give you documentation to use it.

Now if you please. This is not an argument, but a discussion.
This is what google is for.

Should the documentation be shown then, I haven't seen any here. Even though, once again: it'ld be a shame to the pourpose of the site. The site wasn't created to find legal holes in it but to support the original arts and the growth in the artistic comunity and in the skills of it's memebers. What could tell me this person if I asked them what technique was used in this piece? how much time took it to be made? And please don't answer saying they can just ask the original artist, this person is obviously not an intermediary or a client of the artist.
